mini hybred motor choice? 300ex chassis

ok so i got a buddy that has some moeny... he has a 250x that he got from his brother when he passed away a few years ago, he was more in to the motocross bikes but he got the 250x and he did a rebuild on it... now the chassis is cracked and hes going to do another one, he wants to put a mx bike motor in there. a 250f if he could, or else a 125, i dont know how bad the chassis would vibe with the 125 in it, but how bad are the older yzf 250's

what motor would you say to put in it? If he was gonna go 4 stroke i was thinking the 150 or 250 crf or the yz250f, 2 strokes i was thinking a 05 + yz125 or a Cr 125...

Go with the 250f we have built several and Coles 250f Lonestar is the best platform hands down. By the way it is still for sale 6500.00.

well i got a 400ex chassis he might buy from me and put a cr250 motor in it cause he knows a guy with one of them...

I put a CR125 in JB Mod for my son when he was 10. The thing is an absolute monster. Mine is for sale too if anyone is interested. Looking to get 6,000.
