Any one know if the track will be changed/ improved this year? I hope they do something better then what was there last year.

Would be nice if they did but I doubt it will happen. They are not interested in preparing a decent track for anything but bikes.

Well the bikes ride the back track as well so why not put a little more work into it. I don't mind shareing it with the bikes any way.

I think they only care about there main MX track. It's a shame because of there location if they had a good quad track people would go there.

Quad track was awesome in 05-early 06. Then something happened. They were going to re-do it and did...but made it soooo much worse. I used to love hitting that uphill step-up. 4th WFO!

Yea they really cater to the dirtbikes over there, as well as all places now-a-days. Thats why i just ride recreationally anymore. Tracks and riding facilities aren't what they used to be(besides Breezewood but its 5 hours away). I'm actually thinking of converting to XC but idk. I mean I love motocross, but riding and racing are so expensive and it costs a paycheck just to practice. XC seems so much more worth the money to ride, besides...I can practice out the back door whenever i want ;)

I have no idea where you talking about honestly. I used to park on 14th st I think back in the woods behind the big dirt lot but that was all walled in. Last time down there i parked at the track off 54. Was easy getting back there. Just don't like pulling off of the main road like that with the police station up the road.

I was at blue diamond today, the quad track was a mess. Huge ruts, big rocks, holes in the faces of jumps and landings. Its borderline unsafe to be honest. When they updated it last they took all the sandy soil away and now the entire track is like concrete.

I am thinking about putting together a letter or an email to try to have the track fixed up. Maybe a few other emails from some other quad guys would help persuade them?

Track was hard as a rock last year. I wore out an almost new set of rear tires in a fw trips. Also got dropped off my quad after the quad in front of me threw up a baseball size rock last year. Its still early so maybe it will get better.

I will send one also, my friend who I go with is pretty close with both the owner and his wife. I met her yesterday and she was a very nice woman, easy to talk to. I don't think it would take more then a couple of people emailing or stopping by and asking for a little love on the quad track. Its still early in the season and if they are going to do anything they are going to do it before the races start.

Yeah try proding your friend to inquire more. For the past two years I've emailed (no response), inquired, asked when I went there to ride etc. If they would do something they would get a big turn out, the location is great & not in the middle of nowhere. I agree with one other post, it is borderline dangerous. Tire wear is huge as well, it is like concrete. I'm really holding out hope this is the year they do something. They have the equipment in the back. They could do it in one day. It is real shame, but lets keeping inquiring, proding, etc.

Ditto my shocks should be delivered Monday. I have work to do in Pennsville NJ so I'm looking to go as well. I post up when I do go. Anyone ride there during the week or just the weekend?

I rode today from 11-4 and the atv track was great. I talked to one of the track techs and he said they work on the atv track often. When they re built the track they took all the sandy soil away leaving only that hard packed cement like soil that gets beat up very quickly.

The track was cleaned up saturday afternoon (he spent 6 hours in a dozer fixing it) and was watered at least twice during the day today.

They always ask you to call before you come ride to check that everything is open. So if anyone is thinking of heading out I would call first and check to see when the track was last prepped.

There was a pretty good showing of atv's today and a few very good riders. I had a blast both riding and watching some of the better riders.

If anyone is interested in heading down let me know I don't live too far and if I'm able I'd be happy to come ride whenever I can.
