Does it say anywhere if they are going to allow aftermarket frames in the Pro "Production" class?

I dont think they are allowing it, but im not 100% positive. I guess u can kiss any chance of Hawk ever racing a quad again goodbye. They have a new rule saying, "no Pro bike rider is allowed to compete in ATV event":(

i thought the same thing when i read the rules. i was hoping to see hawk race one. the first gncc i ever went to was to see hawk race. it was the 1999 ironman. he already had the championship wrapped up so he didn't race. i was so disappointed.

That doesnt mean Barry can't race quads again. It just means he cant race a quad on Saturday and then a Bike on Sunday. That would give him an unfair advantage over the other Pro Bikers since he would have ridden the course already. But, say he wanted to run PP in Fla he could, he just couldnt run Pro Bike the following day.

the bikes are where he makes his living. they count all 13 races so he can't miss one. i would love to see him and bill go at it. i say bill would kick his ***. but the old timers always say i am wrong.

the pros have stepped it up so much since hawk retired, i dont think he would be able to run with them, atleast not at first. But bill is so fast, i think he would run on hawk, but i would still love to see that battle
