oil problem

ive noticed that my oil tank was always empty but it wasent leakin so i took it apart and when i opened my airbox, it had like 2" of oil in it, i duno why it goes thrue the motor, but dosent go back in the oil tank, it overflows in the airbox ? can someone help

Worn rings can cause this as some of the air can get sucked down into your cases and the access pressure pushes the oil and air out of your crankcase vent tube and into your airbox. How long has it been since you've had a topend rebuild?
