ok... my stock exaust is creeping me out... dent in silencer.

I have a big dent in my stock exaust, slanted from the top and angling down towards the swingarm. It is about 1.5-2" away from the end of the exaust. It looks like it could be from the brake caliper hitting it, but I dont think I have ever bottomed my rear suspention out. Anyone else have this?

i dont think your exhaust and brakes could ever touch no matter how bad you bottom out. My guess would be its from a flying rock.

Is there white marks all around it??? I also have this problem. But I do believe it is the brake caliper hitting it. I know I have bottomed out hard with that thing. Im surpried the caliper is still on mine.

It isnt from a rock, I got another stock scilencer to modify, and it had the dent in the same exact spot, just not as bad. I dont think the caliper and the exaust would hit, but ya never know...:D
