having trouble with my clutch not releasing. cable is good. removed clutch cover. could see cluthes moving when lever is pulled. i removed the discs and inspected the basket and did find some grooves in the inner and outer baskets. will this cause problems?

An extremely grooved basket can cause it.
Post some good quality pictures of the grooves. Use macro mode on ur camera.

Did u make sure the clutch cable doesn't have too much slack?
And your having this problem when the bike is warmed up right? The clutches on these bikes never release 100% when they are cold.

They dont push around well in gear with the clutch pulled in... Like not at all. The Judder spring is what causes it. True story. I thought people were bullsh*ting me but I researched it.
