AMA Number Plate Colors

I looked at the ATVA rule book and it says for pro am and A riders white background with black numbers. I had a guy tell me that he had that and when he registered for Stock A at loretta's he was told to change it to Black background with white numbers. Can anyone verify what is the proper color scheme for an A class rider at Nationals?

riders have white plate with black numbers, B riders yellow plates with black numbers, and C riders have black plates with white numbers. 50+ masters have gold plates with black numbers, the PW shaft drive (4-6) class has blue with white numbers, and all other youth have white with black numbers.
the 450 class runs white with black numbers, the 250 class runs black with white numbers (as does Schoolboy 125), and all the youth pretty much do whatever they want.
