This is what happens when your motor jumps time and a valve goes through the top of your piston... Nice :cool:

KFX450... It actually happened at a good time. I was about to tear it down to do my rebuild anyway. So no worries...

ahhh but what ablout the head? bottum of that get messed up from the valve bouncing of the piston

The head is still usable, but I had one coming from dasa anyway.

Manual cam chain tensioners are designed to prevent that.

The tensioner wasn't the problem. One if the plastic guides was wore out and it allowed the cam chain to be too loose.
