Off Throttle wine Help Pls!

Hey all,

When I let off the throttle clutch in or idle after riding real hard on a warm day I would get a distinct rattle / oscillating wine as the rpms drop, does this just blipping the throttle up a bit as well, still pulls nice and strong and no noise under load any guesses as to what this is?

It was also getting a nasty habit of not letting me have neutral after hard riding too.

I'm just starting to tear down the engine for my winter rebuild and could use any hints on what to check

I would check and/or replace the balancer bearings while it's torn down. This is usually a very likely source of the whine that you may be hearing.
