Just had an engine build done on my ds450x mx. I had it ported, polished, blue printed, airbox mod, cams, 14:1 piston, etc. Just wondering what you racers run for race fuel or what you would recommend for this build and where to buy it from? Thanks, Craig

The Can-Am race team uses MRXO1 in there higher comp. motors and C-12 mixed with pump gas in there lower comp. motors.

Hope that helps.

i have 13 to 1 in my yamaha and run sunoco 104

C 12 would be a cheaper practice fuel, as for race gas mrx01 will make more power but is also more expensive than u 4.2

I think I have settled in on mrx01. Thanks for your time and comments guys. Craig

I wouldnt run x01 all the time. The price is unrealistic to do that, and you should purge your lines after every ride. The fuel contains oxygen which will rust certain parts. Ive gone without purging the lines, but it is what you're supposed to do. If you love the oxy fuel try vp 113 for practice and x01 for race. Just keep an eye on stuff with these fuels. 113 left a green film over some parts of our head that we thought was weird. Try to find a pump 110 around where you live. Run that for practice fuel, and run 113 or mrx01 for race. c12 is a glorified 110 with vp's name on it. If you can find 110 for cheaper run that.

Id recommend just running sunoco 110 for practice and mrx01 for race if you need a few extra ponies. If no need for more power stick with sunoco. Sunoco is best bang for buck. Vp is wayyyyy over priced.
