Hella spark plug problem

Ok i looked all over, and hear the spark plug is an18mm thin walled socket, ok so i cant find a thin wall anywhere around here, so i grind down my 18mm and it fits! just one problem.. i cant get it to fit the damn sparkplug .. i do not know what to do.. i dont think its a 17 mm .. i could be wrong..

go to servicehonda.com or any other and buy the honda spark plug tool for gosh sakes. or your local dealer.

i use a craftsman 11/16 12 point socket which i filed out the inside (only the points) works like a charm.
