i was planning to order some houser +2's this saturday but i was wondering what other good brands there are. i want to keep it under 700.00 for price. i just had my 450r shocks triple rated by C&D and a 400ex rear dual rated by them. here is a pic.

$900 isn't too bad at all considering Elkas all around will easily cost double that. Jet-Motorsports quoted me $660 for a dual-rate conversion for my KFX fronts and stock rear. $860 for triple rate. I've heard they do really good work.

As for arms, Houser is one of the top brands in the business. If you can find some in your price range I'd definitely suggest going for them. Laeger makes some quality arms as well. I'm extremely happy with my Burgards for the price I paid for them ($200).

What a-arms were your shocks built for? Hope you get the arms to match the shocks. The correct way is to build the shocks to the arms you are using. You should ask Colby (C&D) what a-arms you should buy to work best with your new shocks. Otherwise, you'll have sweet new shocks that don't work very well with your new a-arms. Hope this helps,
Dustin

caster just controls how much the tire leans when bars are turned, and how slow or how fast your steering is. its not really needed unless you want to dial your front end in, the factory caster is fine
