i'm getting A-arms for the upcoming race season. i'm on a pretty tight budget. the cheapest a-arms that i have heard of are BURGARD, and FULLFLIGHT. burgard is $450 and fullflight has 2 different kinds. one is made from alloy (same as the burgard) for $450 also. fullglight also has some made from COD? they are $389 which is really cheap. burgard has the oem syle bushings as where fullflight has a hiem bearing kind (i think) if anyone has any other suggestions please add! i will put my 3 choices up thanx.

x2. I would look into SMC, JD, or possibly even the clearance section of Houser. Sometimes you can find some good deals on there. I've had Burgard before, the durability is definately lacking if you get the cheaper version, i.e. 14mm balljoints, thinner lower a-arm material.

Get the Lonestar Race Series ST arm. They have adjustable camber and caster, and the Star gusset welded on the shock mount. I run them on my practice bike with Axis fully adjustables, and I got the bike handling very well. Not up to the level of my race bike with Gibson/Axis, but probably better than alot of people have their LT front ends setup. That would be the best buy, but the Houser arms are very nice too. Not as adjustable, but built very strong. Only others I would concider are Laegers, JB, or ATV Four Plays.

I've seen the FullFlights, ASR, Wicked, and Burgards bend and fold up on landings. Not exactly what I would want on my mind flying through the air.

LOL, doing quad war shows along with all kinda racing, you can always pick out the guy with the cheapy setups at the beginning of the day, and then watch them get towed off the track with the front end dragging the ground. Or for quad wars, one hit and the front folds up and now your down a rider.

For sure watch ebay, you can get some pretty good deals on there. I just got a set of Houser +2 ST arms for 175 shipped off there. They are in great shape and came with tie rods. For the price difference you can even rebuild them with new bushings and ball joints for less than the new burgards and have a better product. I've seen some pretty good priced lonestars on there recently too.

thanks for all of your opinions. i checked out houser and lonestar. houser is $600 for the cheapest ones, an that's with the rubber bushings.lonestars are more. i don't see the difference between burgard and houser though. both made from chromoly, and rubber bushings. houser just has them greasable. not worth the $150. i also checked on ebay an there wasn't anything good. any other options?

If you are just a sport rider and not a hardcore racer you will be fine with the burgards. Just found these on ebay. These are brand new burgards for cheap. Only thing wrong is slight blemish in the powder coat. The seller is actually burgard, so they are straight from the source.
