Did you say that out loud first? :blah:

Anyway, I used the undercoat rubberized paint stuff. It doesn't hold up all that good, even if you take your time and clean it right. I just had mine powdered so i could be done with it. Got tired of it looking like crap.:chinese:

It will be cheaper in the long run to have it powdered. You're gonna be taking it off every couple rides to keep the paint looking fresh. Especially if you use a pressure washer to wash it.

The truck bedliner will work better than paint, as long as you tape off the carrier, brake stay, and pivot areas.

i had my painted last year and it still looks fine. it was dipped in acid first to etch it which seemed to help

Acid and aluminum don't usually get along, so be careful.

Paint will not hold up to what we put these atvs through. IF you take your time, clean it up right, use a self-etching primer, lay down some GOOD paint(not spray bomb), and clear coat the HECK out of it it'll stick. It WILL chip and fade out after only a year though. PC is the best way to go.

Supplies are gonna cost you about 30-40 for sandpaper, paint, clear, primer..etc. I believe pappy charges 55 for a swinger. Just wanted to point that out. I personally didnt PC my swinger because I like the stock look of it with my textured black frame.
