Hey guys,
I got this engine a few months ago and am going to use it for parts. I am not interested in "performance parts" listed here. I do not positively know much about the parts here. I think its a sleeper stroker setup. (8mil, which i have never heard of)
Heres what I can tell you from looking at it.
-Crank
Welded, Hot Rods Connecting Rod,
has Arlans writing stating an 8 mil stroker. There are two nicks on the connecting Rod shown in the pictures.
The Crank/ Rod appear fine.
-Cylinder
LRD Ported.
Has custom braces on reed side.
Sleeve is up out of cylinder (for stroker crank setup i'm assuming).
Do not know bore at this time.
-Head
LRD Cool Head which was modified by Arlan to compensate for the stroker.
Because of this, the stud holes are exposed(this is really what concerns me).
-Dome
Assuming its race gas, but I do not know.
-Spacer Plate
Like I said I do not know much else about it. Arlan's number is on the cylinder, so he could tell you more about it. The motor came with a custom CDI, so I'm not sure if it was an LRD prototype for the racer that I bought it from.
I am open to any offers. I'm not sure what its worth to anyone. I'm not trying to rip anyone off. I don't know much about this setup, so PLEASE USE YOUR BEST JUDGEMENT if you are interested at all.
I will try to answer questions as well.
