Does anyone know if the ltr a-arms will bolt up to the z400? If so how does it ride?

No they dont fit, unless you relocate the rear mounts

The upper a-arms will fit but you've got to shim them a little bit for a snug fit. The lower a-arms will need the rear mounting bracket on the quad cut off and moved back about 1 1/2 inches if I remember correctly when I did this mod on my DVX after everyone z400 central said it couldnt be done, and it handles great compaired to my LTR.

Also the LTR tie rods fit without a problem just need adjusting along with the extended brake lines.

What does the LTR arms put you at as far as width?

Depending on what offset wheel your running anywhere from 49" to 50". I went thru tech at nationals with it and it barely squezed thru.

When putting on the 250r's do the uppers need to be replaced as well? What I am asking is, do the z400 and 250r lowers share the same length.

I hate the 03 lower a-arms. I had a ball joint come out. So if I put 250r arms in it can i use the same shock, brake lines and tie rods?

Thanks, Luke

P.S. I am new to this site, not trying to jack the thread.

Measure the 250r and see how much difference there is between it and the stock A Arm, if it's just fractions of an inch you can adjust the stock tie rods, if not, just pull the ones off the 250r, they screw right on I'm pretty sure.

See the prob is that I do not have the 250r's on hand. I have been looking at sets that are way to much money for my taste, or 03 z400 that have sloppy joints. I may just but some aftermarket joints and drill and tapp the stockers

If they bolt right on(which idk if they do or not) then tie rods are only 15-30$ If your looking for a new set of A Arms for the z400, I have a brand new set of +2 Alba's I'm willing to part with for a decent price.
