shifter shaft different?

is the shifter shaft that comes out of the engine different on the 04-05's than the 06+

Don't believe so I beleive the diffrence is the kicker it's self I beleive the newer one are shorter I believe

For the record, the shifter shafts are different between the years. They are different lengths.
