i think dinli is tryin to lowball you on the motor i think 2500 is a decent price for the fresh rebuild and i know them hinson comps are expensive. i mean the clutch cover alone is like 120 for the hinson cover. i think you got a good price for it and i would love to buy it but economy is hard now a days.

The age of the cases means nothing.

you can get the same motor dasa builds done by joeshmo for half the price. dasa..atp..baldwin. there just names that over charge you. and just because you have that motor doesnt mean you can over charge someone when selling it. 1000 dollars is resonible for an 05. dasa or not dasa. its not about the motor its about how well you ride it.

i just got a full rebuild bottom and top done for six hundred and i had bought the cases and my motor builder bought the crank piston cylinder and did all the head work for six hundred. sounds like somone made out like a bandit on all you guys. sorry not trying to be mean

Exactly d3ktrix. And theres a reason Baldwin, Dasa, Rage...etc are all big in the sport.....THEY ARE THE BEST AT WHAT THEY DO! So no not just any jo shmo can build a motor like that....Because "jo shmo" is'nt out testing his motors and putting them through hell and back to see what is putting out the most power and what holds up the best. These guys are experienced mechanics and deserve to have theyre names on the motors they build because they truly are the best at what they do. So just a name? Ummmm i dont think so. Im not trying to bash anyone but just think about what your saying. This thread was for the dude to sell his parts...not be shot down on them.

I believe it, my own motor builder does all my work and i have got plenty of holeshots over pro built motors....it comes down to motor and skill as a rider. Like i said im not bashing but imo you gotta give credit where credit is do and the awsome motors put together by Baldwin,Dasa...etc deserves some credit.
