I have about 10 hrs in on my quad since I switched from a bills pipe to the trx9 pipe. wow what a difference.. I have only been on trails with it so far. basically a narrow MX track in the woods. with a few little rhythms.. I can ride almost the whole thing in 3rd gear now and only hitting 4th a few times. before I was always wanting to put it in forth.. the power kept coming longer then I expected because of how soon it came on. I really like this pipe.. going to rock in the dunes.. So just my 2 cents on the pipe since I couldn't dig much up on it.

What does the rest of your engine setup look like? Do you know displacement, compression ratio, intake system, port timing numbers?
Thx for the feedback!

I am at 67.5 mm. running a long rod with 87 style piston. 19cc dome with 3 pc. metal gasket. 210 lbs. pyramid reed cage w. stock boot bored out. 39 pwk. my cylinder has a 310 sleeve and it was just brought back to factory specs on the ports.. a port job is coming soon.

I knew you would like it. I love mine, and it just seems to make great power all over. I can clutch through the gears and wait a second before I stab the throttle again and there's hardly any bog. It'll pick up real quick and keep on pulling.

I had an FMF on mine then decided to get the TRX9. Glad I did. It made a big difference!

ya it's available.. they just came out with a while back. like in 09 I think.. I read a post here that a fella put up a few weeks ago.. he had pretty much my set up but he had some good port work. he was hitting 58 hp. 54 hp with a sparks TT. and only 51 with some other leading pipe. that's a nice difference. [ 1promodfan ] Have you ever ridden your trx 9 in the sand ?

Yes I've rode it in the sand some. We have a little spot here by the house that I ride in from time to time. Only thing I don't have is paddles.

Has anyone ever ran the esr trx 5 and then switched to the trx 9? I wondered if it looses bottom end compared to the trx 5.

This post is pretty encouraging...I know there's a ton of variables, but from everything I've read, it seems like the TRX5 is the b.a. of all-around pipes.

well i can see how the tx 5 would be easier to ride in the trails. especially for a less experienced rider. the trx 9 wants to be ridden fast..my Buddie has the sparks he is going to get a trx 5 and I will try it this summer..

No I haven't tried one, but I'm dying to. I want to see the difference between my TRX-9 and the 5. I've been trying to find one cheap just to try out.

I don't think there is much difference between the TRX5 and TRX9. They're gonna be pretty similar.
