ltr shocks on a kawi?

I found a good deal on a set of long travel a arms for my kawi450 but dont really have the cash to drop on shocks right now. Someone told me stock ltr shocks will work as long trael on a kawi anybody know if its true?

I heard they they would bolt up to the kawi as a cheep upgrade which would probably meen using the stock arms.

but arent thry longer do you know the lenth of the stock ltr shocks? i know it wont be true long travel but maybe enough to get me by
