hey iam having a little trouble with my blaster when iam in neutral it reves up fine . But put it in first and go it goes about 5 mph and it breaks up back fires putters all that good stuff. So i got a new carb thinking it was the torrs but nope got rid of all the torrs still . Could it be the cdi going bad let me know what you guys think . I also did a compression test and i have 108 psi on a cold motor thanks so much

could be the stator. Does it start very easy? 108psi is kinda low. should be around 125 to 130. May want to put a new top end on the motor soon...

Later model banshees had the parking break by the back break stick and do the same thing. It is a safety switch. Could be the same thing?

What year is your bike and call the dealer and ask if there is any safety switch that's being triggered. We had the same problem with a banshee and dealer told us that Yamaha installed safety switches on all their quads.

the parking brake switch is only on the 03up blasters. And it won't let the bike rev above idle even in neutral when it thinks its set...
