I was wondering what you all do to break the bead from your rims and tires. I have a system, but its not very efficient.

most people like myself use a bead breaker, but i have heard alot of people that take a short board lay it on the tire and drive up it with a car or truck

Get a manual tire changer with beadbreaker from Harbor Freight Tools. I got one for $39 on sale. Way better than the atv type beadbreakers.

The tire shop by me will swap all four tires for 10 bucks. for that money i'll let them do it.

i agree with TRX01..i have pure sport bandits which were a pain to get on and off the rim but we drove up on the with a truck....that didnt work so we used a tractor haha but if you go to some tire shops they dont have a fitting for the smaller four wheelers tire, but that is where i live which is in the middle of no where...

so what you do is put a 2x4 that 3feet long on the tire and drive up??

well a 2x4 is kinda narrow, i would go with sumthig about 2-4 iches thick, and about a car tire wide, so prob like a 8 inches wide and 3 feet long is prob good

never kicked up for me
i made u 3 little diagrams..haha dont make fun of my CPU paint skills...hah

one way you can do it would be lay the board kinda long way acroos the tire but yet make an incline so you have sumthing to drive up

or if you have some kinda of electirc saw like a jiw saw then cut a nice rounded area out, like kinda get a trace of your rim or a nice rounded edge that you think would match nicly to rim and cut it out kinda like this....this is how we did it before we got a bead breaker......worked good

i dont even use a board. just have a buddy stand on the side you dont drive on. it might take a few tries but it will eventually work.

Which ever way you choose, soapy water helps alot.
