I just picked up a 04 jd/pep lt trx about a month or so ago. It's tax time and I'm thinking about doing a re-build on it because they were known for the weak crank bearing. What I was thinking was higher comp. piston(not to high wanna run pump gas), hot cam stg1 or stg2( wanting bottom to mid power) Hot rods crank and bearings, and maybe some powder coating. Out of the things I listed what would you guys recommend for each.
I'm also contemplating on selling it and trying to make a little boot on it and taking the money from that and my tax check and putting a long travel frond end on my kawi450, or selling the kawi and just having the honda. What's your input on this Idea also? Thanks Jon
