1997 Big Bear Starter

I need to repair the starter on a 1997 350 Big Bear. Does anyone know all thats involved in getting it removed from the ATV. Whats inside the side case once I remove it. Do I need to drain the oil. Do I need any special tools. Thanks in advance

if in doubt you should get a manual. as for the starter, i'd suggest that you look at pats small engine. they have the best prices out there. :cool:
