stock ltr shocks on kawi?

I founda deal on long travel a arms for my kawi but dont really have the cash to drop on shocks right now someone told me stock ltr shocks will work as long travel on the kawi anybody know if its true?

I have LTR shocks on my Kawi with Houser standerd travel. The shocks were shortened 1" by Noleen. So you may be alright depending on What a arms you go with.

they are houser silcast i plan on going with floats eventually but hard to pass up this deal right now just need something to get me by

So are the ltr shocks a direct bolt on? Or is there some fab work that needs to be done? Could you run them with the stock a-arms? Not trying to hijack your thread, just looking at all the options

They will bolt right on. I had my shocks shortened and revalved for flat track and TT. They were shortened 1".
I will try to get some pics later today.

awesome. You dont NEED to shorten them to fit do you? Is there a big improvement from stock kfx shocks to stock ltr shocks?

If you are going to use them on stock a arms they will need to be shorter. These are coming off next week. Switching over to long travel. So I will have the a arms and shock for sale.
