HIPERS..Need Opinions

I have a kfx 450r, i know this is the trx forum, but i dont see many guys get on the kfx forum. I just need opinions on HIPERS, Im looking at getting the CF1R's in black, single beadlock rears. Im on a budget otherwise id get the tech 3's. Honest opinions please and thanks.

I just got mine, I love them. I can't say anything negative about them.

I run them and had no issues. I have yet to take a hit on the inside rears and I have raced them over a year in XC.

I race mx with mine and I love them. Just wish I could have afforded fronts at the time LOL. running bajas in the front an hipers in the back but it still looks good.

last set of rims you every buy Ive never seen or heard of one failing.

I've heard of them failing, but thats the operators fault, running a flat, over torqing the beadlocks, etc..Never have I seen them break though.

What's the difference bw. the CF1A'a and the CF1R's, besides color? Anything?

The cf1r's are 25% stronger

no theres no difference at all all it is , is that the Bell of the rim is colored and and the CF1A is streight black, also i Run CF1A in MX and ive never had a probleme, they are perfect for if you want beadlocks and not spend a Grand for the full set of Tech3's, tech 3's have the dual pattern and dual rear but thats about it and they are a bit stronger but allot of $$$

I decided to go with Tech 3's, I dont want to replace single beadlocks in a year, but good part about HIPERS is that they are rebuildable, unlike aluminum, you have to trash the whole wheel and there goes $200 or so down the drain.
