OK guys, its finally almost done!! I know I promised some good pics but I have to get those developed! Meanwhile here is some pics of it, it isnt finished yet because it got dark too fast on us yesterday, but Its running great!!! Like a Monster!!! I will get some good pics up of it completely finished soon!!

K_Fulk, well Tom originally had it almost 8 months, then I got it back and screwed up anf blew a head gasket the first ride, then another 2 months to fix that! I guess you can say its been damned near a year!! Man that hurts!! But I found out its like riding a bicycle, you never forget!:D

Skinrider, It was $40 to have the cases coated, which they are first coated with chrome, then red, then clearcoat with the sparkles in it! Very Cheap!!

Lill400exman, yeah I really like the billet too and had planned to polish the cases, but I didnt make it too far and got lazy! Im kind of glad I went with something different,,I know a lot of guys with polished cases but not many that are powdercoated! The sparkles in them really stand out in person and look real nice!!!

I appreciate all the good comments, its been a lot of oney and hard work in that thing! And dont worry Ill have some good pics up soon,,,a dyno run, and some race results soon!!!

Yeah i know how the waiting is. I sent my crank back to powroll in march and still havent seen it.
At least i have 2 motor though. I would like to have my 460.

Well guys, I finally got some good riding time on it yesterday,,,the carb still has a tad bit of hesitation at first and needs some more adjusting, but explaining the power of this thing is impossible! If I can get the tires to hook up and not spin it will pull the front end up in 4th or 5th with the +5 swingarm as easy as my 416 did in 1st or 2nd!! its quite incredible!!!! Im going to have to get used to it though, I figured out after a few runs on the strip that the power is hard to control. I was dragging on red dirt and I would be almost in 4th before it would even start going forward, the wheels were spinning like a mofo!! Then when it starts pulling the back end started getting all squirrely on me!!! It pulls so hard its hard to hold on to the damed thing!!! I could never be happier with the work TC has done for me, it was well worth the wait! Im going to be a little more careful this time so Im sure it should last longer!!! Anyways I really need you guys to pray for me, i have spent a lot of money and time on this thing so please, lets all assume the motor will last forever!

Tants, its a 10ft trailer and they are pretty nice, Actually 10ft is more than enough room for one but not quite enough room for 2! SO if your gonna haul more than one I recommend a 14fter!! Yes my a-arms are extended +2!

yeah cody was crackin up about it he said to go ahead and come over here and race....... of course we would have to wait til the season opened back up but hopefully you will make plans to come down here so finally i will know someone else from this site except steven:D :cool:

Ive heard they got some real good organized races out there? Ours are just now starting to get really organized, but on a good turnout, 1st place in a class wins $200-$300!!!

yeah they are pretty good...... the amount of money depends on how many enter the class...... will you be makin a trip over here this summer?

Nice quad Chad. I'd like to see it run sometime. We are planning a trip to LS May 17th...you and others should try to make it. I've got a Polaris that would be hard for the 505 to handle. This is a older pic..it now has Hauler Ultra Lights and a +5" swingarm.

Go ahead and get it out of you system Rider11X. You obviously have never seen a fast Polaris before. Laugh is what most people do when I line up but once the race is over so is the laughing. You should see the looks I get from the Banshee guys. I get a big kick being the so-called underdog. It's all in fun anyway.;)

Sorry, But we don't see any fast Polarises out here, I'd have to change my shorts if one beat my stocker 400. But I guess with the right mods and the knowhow they can be fast too. Just for fun, post the results of that drag race.:cool:

that looks like a nice polaris...... i have seen many run out at our track and let me tell you they are no joke.........im talkin about the drag racing polaris's not the ride trails with and chit around on poolaris:)

It has been awhile but I have seen Sandraggen run down at LS and I can vouch for him...... I was totally amazed at the smack he was putting down on everything out there Banshee's, 250R's, and Quadzillas. It is one fast machine I really dont know who I would bet on versus the TC 505 but I sure would like to see the race.

Rider11X, I mostly drag race, but plan to try a little TT pretty soon, I havent tried the MX yet, Im afraid it would whoop my *****!!

Sandraggen, Im sure i will be making another trip up to LS so just keep in touch with me and we will meet up there sometime! I have a friend that always goes with me and so far he is the one to beat up there! Him and Sandtrix battle it out every time we go!! He has a 350R on alky and its crazy fast!!

Sandraggon the pics of the purple and yeller polaris bring back great memories...I didn't have near the mods you have..but a full pipe..jetting mods, clutch kit and reeds will make a sport 400L flat kick arse...most people don't have no idea what them things got hiding in them...very fun trail machines too..

Thanks all. SandTrix's 350 is one that I can't beat. He's just to fast. SandTrix's 416EX moves pretty good to.

Nacs425ex...I've spent hours ugling it up...that's the way I like em...uglier the better. I did a pretty good job...huh?

Rico..come on up to St. Joe sometime this Spring/Summer/Fall and take it for a spin. It's not set up to do trails though.

The Pols in stock form are severely de-tuned. It doesn't take a whole lot to get them running strong. I'm sure Polaris did that for a reason. Rider-400EX..I have the 75 hp race motor from HPD that you pointed out. Add another 6-10 hp. to that figure with the alky that I'm running. It's alot of fun, but is a drag only. I finally got the 465 head leak stopped...I think, and will use it as my play bike.

I'll get a pic of my old 400 sport like yours sandraggen and post it tomorrow.. For those of you that don't know much about these particular polaris quads...they is faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaast.

If i could I'd replace the 416 motor with a sport 400L motor anyday...smooth hard pulling motor that has more continous pull than any quad out there I think...Remember polaris's are automatic,,there for it's a none stop pull..never lets up because you never switch gears,,there for you get the upper hand,,because there's absolutely NO letting off the gas till your ready to stop....Mine only had a complete PSI pipe setup, reeds, Full HPD clutch kit, K&N filter and jets along with other chassis mods and it flat hauled the mail...there's NO DOUBT in my mind that it would hand my 416 it's arse anyday anyplace...:eek: :macho
