1st, try clearing all of your temporary internet files and all the stuff in the windows temp files..

go to your 'control panel', click on 'internet options', then click the 'delete' button under 'browing history' category(middle of the pane)..
a new pane will come up.. be sure all the boxes are checked except for 'preserve favorite website data'..(you want to pitch everything) click on the 'delete' button at the bottom of the pane.. if you havent done this in a while it will take some time to complete, so be patient.

as for the windows temp folder..
look on the "C drive" for the 'documents and settings' folder. now look for the folder with your logon name and open it. now click on the 'local settings' folder..
in there, youll find the one 'temp' folder (and also the 'temporary internet files' hidden folder as well)
delete everything from this folder.. nothing there will be required.

there is also another 'temp' folder in the windows directory.. delete everything from there as well..

even if you arent having issues, this is a good thing to do on occasion.

oh and as already mentioned.. stay away from the porn.:blah:

i am trying those things, and running avast. i think what might of been the cause i Facebook. one of my apps is messing up, causing avast to go off at times, and i have been getting a bunch of weird notifications that lead to nothing.

the sites that are appearing are nothing bad, stuff like yahoo hotjobs, yellowpages, realtor, stuff like that.
