I am replacing the valve seals and I am wondering if when you buy the seals from Service Honda if they come with the sleeve that slips over the valve stem when you install them?

it is all one peice that slides onto the guide and then the valve slides through it out the top. you have to get 4 of the number 1 on this schematic.

Maybe I wasn't clear enough or I am misunderstanding you, but when you install valve seals there is a little sleeve that temporarily slides over the valve stem where the groove for the keepers are. This keeps the seal from tearing when you install them. This is what I am talking about.

mine didnt come with a temporary sleeve when i bought them, but they may have used one when they put them back in. I did not actually do mine. I tore it all down but i did not put it back in since i did not ahve the correct compressor to do the springs. steve

no sleeves in them, i know what your talking about though, just put a dab of oil or grease on the valve stem and slip them on, they are not as elaborate as the ones your thinkin of.
