g force is good for the most part, lonestar is really good along with a couple of the durablue stuff but i would only get one of those as a last resort to any other. lonestar is number 1, g force for the price number 2, and then durablue 3. steve

quick question, when they say 2+2 they mean +2 on each side so +4 overall correct?

no prob bro. get yourself a nice service manual from clymer or honda and with a bit of mechanical know how anyone can take this motor apart. i replied to your other post too. also check out the 400 section for lots of good searching options. just about anything you need to find is in there somewhere if you like to search for it. lol. steve

From what I gather, RPM Dominator and Lonestar are the top dogs when it comes to axles. You pay the price, but you def. seem to get the quality and fatigue resistance in return. If you do a search on here, there's a lot of good info and opinions on all the brands.

Have fun with the 400ex; it's a great 'wheeler!!

ok for a long time i thought lonestar was the best and i got one that was bent now i own and believe its the dominator only time will tell in the end i think a rookie could bend either one of them if they wreck or even land really wrong but

like i said i just got the dominator 2 brand new and had to get the anti-fade and they only make a 250r style brake hub so now i need to get a 250r caliper, brake stay plate, and rotor when i already had a wave rotor for a 400ex so i think ill modify my brake stay and get a rotor machined for it.! but keep that in mind!

thanks guys, the only thing is i'm not made of $ lol and i do jumping so i could possibly bend a decent axle all up if i land wrong. ya i love the 400ex, although after the 1st week i wanted more power but then again im just crazy lol ill take a look at all of these axles and see what i can get
