I am looking to buy a new frame, and I would like it to be 88-89 style. stock is ok, or I could go with aftermarket if the price is right. I want it to be straight, but I don't care about the paint/powdercoat condition. PM or call me 616-260-2623 if you have one for sale or know someone who does- thanks!

I am sorry I completely did not see your post- and I sent a PM to the other one. To answer your question, I am building it for riding mostly sand dunes, where I do some drag racing but also quite a bit of jumping. How is the one lightened?

I sent you pictures. in them you can see qa few spots where I stripprd the paint off to look for damage. I see 1 spot on the left lower rear a-arm mount where someone has done a small repair and there were 2 gussets where the the lower subframe (if it had a subframe) meets the main frame thatI took out trying to get the frame ready for a restoration and could be cleaned up a little or put back in. All the hreads and mounts look good.

I have an 89 "style" frame so to speak. It's acutally an 86 that has had the 88-89 rear motor mount welded in and the 88-89 foot peg mounts welded in. Also a support/guard at the shifter area underneath welded in.

It's nothing pretty to look at as it's got pink over top of blue paint on it. It is straight though.

Hey, it's an 86 but has been retuned to 89 "style" Let me know if your interested.
