Hey Riders,
I am having a tough time making a decision about what pipe i should run this year. I need something QUIET, this is my major concern, but yet i still want the horse power and the reliability of a good pipe. And of course, a good PRICE. I'll be running a JE 12:1 or Sparks race piston, HRC cam, Mild porting, and a good air filter. I tend to ride my wheeler like a 2 stroke, always in higher rpm. I was looking into a new HMF???? Maybe a Leo Vince??? but $$$ is up there. Any ideas?? thanks

found this on there site about the new pipe they have

HMF Competition Series: The HMF Competition Series with Trimax Core technology features 3 levels of power and sound, allowing you to dictate the type of power and sound you need, when you need it.
Stage 1 uses an insert that restricts sound levels extensively yet produces industry leading power at that dB level.
Stage 2 uses a different sound altering insert that partially lowers sound levels without losing much horse power.
Stage 3 acts as an unrestricted core producing high dB levels with industry leading power throughout the RPM range.
The new Euro End Cap is forged out of 304 Stainless Steel and adds an incredible sound output. Stainless Steel rivet bands are wrapped around the shell and air riveted in for more durability and security.

If you are the racing type then the purpose of your exhaust should be to help your motor reach its highest rpm, rev limiter, etc. the quickest it can reach it with no hesitation at all. Engine builders have tested many and for the Honda's: Dasa is ranked #1 and Rossier is #2 for the Honda. And also, Keep today's and the future's sound levels in mind. A loud, annoying exhaust doesnt mean a thing in performance

a pipe that has less restriction usually puts out more power, and with less restriction you have more noise. i guess i'm looking for that happy medium of a good flowing pipe that doesn't have the bark

Rossier is the way to go. They are only second to Dasa but alot cheaper.
