I've got a 2002 motor for $400. It has brand new crf 450 timing chain, guides, and tensioner. About 30 hours ago it had a 11:1 compression wiseco piston added and bored to a 406. The motor does have a slight tick, but l don't know what it is. Motor still runs very strong. Let me know

Yeah its definitely in the top end. The motor still runs fine, l just don't know what is causing it to tick
