I believe its about $425 or so for the ZPS Conversion...Baldwin can have it back to you in about 8-10 weeks last I heard....I think its well worth it.
i am gonna send off my rear shock in a few days to be converted to zps. i hope it's not 8 weeks. i'll get a tcs conversion if it is.

Do you have ZPS fronts? You can't run a ZPS rear and not fronts.
i have long travel pep shocks on the way already :D

my rear conversion cost $425 from baldwin and i believe mine took about 4 weeks to do. Maybe it was five. It is a very capable shock and you don't need to go out and buy a new one. i've ridden a 400 with a new zps shock and i felt no difference between mine and his.

Just because you have long travels coming doesn't mean you have ZPS. they make limited mass long travel shocks.
opps..soryy.i have long travel zps shocks on the way. 4 weeks sounds better than 8. can wai to get my quad together.

The ZPS setup does not work right without having it in both the Front and Rear Shocks. It is $425 from Baldwin and as they said you will be waiting for a little bit. If you still want some good shocks but not a wait, check out TCS or Elka...

You can run ZPS on the front and not the back, but you can't run them on the back and not the front. The reason is...the way ZPS works if you have them on the BACK and not the front you will not be able to steer! Most of the wieght will be on the rear tires. That is why you CAN run them on the front.
I know, it's confusing...
I know guys who have done this and it works.

The wait on the conversion for the rear shock is 4 weeks from what baldwin said..The 6-8 weeks is on buying new shocks

The stock rear conversion is a good shock.

As I found out above, you basically have ZPS fronts. So the conversion for the stock rear shock to ZPS by Baldwin would be the best value. IMO

i talked to wayne from PEP and he told me its $450 and i would get it back in 2 weeks. Maybe the time has gone up since i last talked to him. I really hope not.

Since you have Elka Fronts why don't you just get the Elka Rebuild? Getting the PEP is fine, but the Elka makes sense....
