ok. i have done the search and not found what i am looking for.

i just bought a lsr twin row bearing carrier off of ebay. guy said it fit a 250r. from what i read the 250r will work in 400ex swingarm. correct?
ok. heres the problem. when i put the carrier in swing arm i have about a 1/4" of play. the swingarm that i got didnt have a carrier in it so i had to buy new carrier. so i dont know what it is suppose to fit like.
am i missing some parts or is it the wrong one? he said he had it on a atc250r. where those swingarms different?

any help is appreciated.

Do you have the old one? If so compare them to see if they are the same.

I’m sitting here looking at a lone star duel carrier and it measures 3-3/8”
It’s for sale $80.00 + shipping. it’s just the carrier it needs bearings seals and spacer. You can get a kit from lone star with everything you need.

is that 3-3/8" where it goes in the swingarm or the adjuster diameter?

mine calipers out at 3.205. that is 1/8" less that yours. also mine is a dual bearing, but has on more machined grooves in it.
what is the diameter with rubber gaskets on it?

thats weird, they should all be the same specs from the 85 3 wheelers on up to current 400ex with everything in between, is your swingarm spread open too far?

it still has that much play with the bolts tightened all the way down.

here is what the ebay description said

Cleaning out some excess inventory this week, and I have unearthed numerous motorcycle parts from the abyss. Here we have a used rear axle bearing carrier to fit '85-86 Honda ATC250R, '86-89 TRX250R, '99-up TRX400EX. This was in my 86 ATC when I bought it. This is the billet carrier with twin row bearings (they now also offer a cheaper cast carrier). It is used but in very good condition. I was told it was installed less than a year before I bought the bike, and I removed it after one brief woods ride (I took the bike apart and did a complete restoration on it, using a new OEM carrier for correctness). The bearings are in good usable condition. I would replace them anyway while it's out, but I'm sure they have lots more life left in them and can be used as-is if you want. Retail price on this unit from Lone Star (with new bearings) is around $230. Why pay an arm and a leg when you can have this very nice one for much less? If you have one of these bikes, this is an unbeatable deal. Please feel free to ask any specific questions you may have, and I will do my best to help
