Okay im sure this has been beaten up already but couldnt find it in any searches. I was wondering if there was anyone that has tried to sand and polish the scratches out of there plastics then tried to spray a layer of clear back on the plastic!! i have tried the armor all and tire shine products and even othere plastic renew products but still not getting the shine back that i want!! any help would be great!!

on my old quad i used a propane toarch, (very lightly) and burnt the white spots that had scratches and they went back to red. then i put something on it and they looked good.

I'm guessing not too bad. 2000 grit is pretty fine. Plus you can just put more polish on it.
