Don't mind XRX he can be a little SA at times.......I'll put together the info you need I know it's confussing as to what to search for. For the most part most ppl out here are VERY freindly and more than willing to help each other, thats what we have built this site into so feel free to ask ANY question you want.

To answer your question......

You need to check your engine # located on the case bottom lower right I think? a number less than M6748166 needs the clutch update some 09's did not get.

VERY important you check this update it can cause engine damage.

thank you tnt i searched just like the guy said did u get the pm i sent you? I am headed 2 shop need 2 know about the gearing. talked 2 bcs they dont replace the boot between airbox and tb anymore jason told me he said they pretty much just cut off whole airbox now.

Yeah got the PM, this is the time a day I get started just woke up a bit ago, ....the stock gearing is good for MX. Let me gather some info will PM you later.

Yep it sure is. From what I've seen and heard it just depends on the dealer. Mine would cover parts and labor, I guess ask or even if you can get parts out of them per the bullitin is a hub, cover, additional plate, you can do the labor yourself. Don't risk this you got and old outdated clutch that can ruin your engine and cause plates to wear early.

You can get them to do it before you buy it, but after you buy it it is a crap shoot if they will do it or not

anything else besides clutch I am getting motowerks complete clutch. I have the clutch upgrade coming from dealer includes cover, hub, and extra plate, if anyone is interested I am going 2 sell upgrade or trade. Also brand new stock clutch is going.:devil:
