Would bad bearing in the rear clutch cause it to make a loud noise when it gets to a certain rpm?

Possibly. I replace alot of rear clutch bearings.

Once I get the back clutch out how do I take it apart to get to the bearings? I have never taken the back clutch apart

The good news is that you don't have to take the clutch pack off the post.
Once you remove the rear clutch nut you can get the whole rear assembly off (you'll also have to remove the front outer face so the belt can come off). The slipper disc's and stuff will fall off when you turn it upside down. That'll expose the outer (small) bearing.
To remove the bearings, first you put a drift thru the small bearing and whack out the big bearing. Once the big bearing is out, you look down the middle of the post and you'll see a spring clip holding the small bearing. Remove that clip and the small bearing is able to be whacked out. LOL

I also would spread the rear clutch faces and see if the sliding face needs lubed.
Gotta take the big nut off/clutch pack for that. It's a left handed thread.

I replace what's bad. I let you know how to do both.
