GNC was the Grand National Championship. It was called that becuase you had to be good at TT racing and MX to be the Grand National Champ.

They don't use that name anymore now it is officially called ATVA ATV motocross championship although some people still refer to it at the GNC.

I would say the GNC name is property of the ama/atva.

However the pro ama racing is now owned by Daytona Motorsports Group. But they sub contracted out pro bike and atv mx to MX Sports Pro Racing(Racer Productions). The Amature ATV races are put on by the ATV Promoters Group

Thats what I understand but someone over on the TQRA website is telling me the owner Jeff Oldnberg of Oak Hill MX in TX owns it and it has "NOTHING" to do with ATVA or AMA?

Here look at the "GNC National" flyer race coming up on Oak Hills website.....http://www.oakhillmx.com/ scroll down a bit.

So whats the deal anyone ever heard of this?

I hadn't really noticed it. I'm not sure if he's gonna try to go anywhere with it, but maybe???

He's advertising it as a "GNC" Warm up series. The pro's will go through Texas on their way to the top.
