when putting a 24v system in do you have to change any electric components and do you just wire the batteries in series
Wire them in series. Just make sure you isolate the rest of the system from the 24 volts, and only run the starter off the 24v.

hey would one of you guys mind forwarding me that info, I was curious how you are isolating the starter exactly?
Always wanted to do the 24v setup, but have not yet.
Thanks!

this is the one that I used... it looks harder then it really is, all your really doing is taking the negative off your existing battery to the positive of your new and the negative from the new to the existing ground and putting the fuse one the positive on the new

Word of advise. Get yea some sealed acid AGM batteries;)

stock is 15 amp fuse and that's what I left in there , its for short circuit protection, if it was used for over load protection I would use a smaller fuse... when you up the voltage you decrease the amps

also Airmobile make sure you dont overcharge!!! the AGM are very prone to failure if overcharged,, make sure to use a nice slow charger that shuts off

when i wired my 24v system i wired another solinoid into it so that my quad will charge battery 1 then when its full it will charge battery 2 instead of just stopping at battery one. makes it a lot more convinient.

How does adding another solenoid cause the second battery to be charged?
