450r rear brakes on a 300ex

need alittle help, I am trying to put 450r rear caliper on a 300ex, I got the stay and caliper for a 450r. But the rotor is to big in diameter. has anyone else done this and if so do I need to get a 450r rotor as well or am I missing something. any help would much appreciated.

I searched the forum and it doesnt mention anything about the rotor on any post's.

to use the 450r stuff you need a 450r rotor and hub, then get the brake stay. the 450r stuff bolts right on, most times you only need to machine down brake hub 3/16" for it to work.

i just sold a 450r antifade set up for this.

the rotor is about 1" dia smaller
