How tight do you put your gas cap on?

Just wondering if these plastic caps can strip if to tight?

I think it would be hard to strip one, and I put my gas caps on pretty tight.

I haven't ever stripped one, but one did vibrate loose and soak my "carry on luggage" with fuel once. Was a VERY uncomfortable trail ride back to the truck....:ermm:

i snug mine up pretty tight. I dont want water or something like ^^^ that to happen above. lol. steve
