Well I tried to go riding today it wasn't too cold here in ohio bout 35 degree just right :) but with the snow melting lots of mud even better well bout 3 mintuees into my ride there was a tree down on my normal trail so I let bike idle for a sec and then died would not start back up nothing happened, towed it back to truck then got it home started looking it over looked ok, noticed spark wasn't there all the time, so I thought well I'm going to take stator cover off mind you I just rebiuld the whole quad over summer, new gasket there bearings all that, I had muck in the cover so apparently the crappy thin gasket didn't seal crap, I had to put a new stator in a while back and where the connection goes it doesnt seal there very good anyone got any recommendations.

as a lil extra measure take and apply sealant on both sides of the cover gasket in conjunction with what allison suggested.
