maier tank cover

hey guys. i just bought a maier tank cover and i wanted to ask if there is any special way it mounts? ordo you just sit it on there and have the fenders and gas cap hold it in place? thanks

No screws or anyhting secure mine to the tank, the fuel cap keeps it tight to the tank....

They do recommend you running two gaskets to prevent leaking.

Is anyone just using one gasket or have you all went with 2? I bought one of these covers in the fall and have had the quad in storage for winter since.

I ended up cutting the hole in the tank cover bigger so I could run one gasket.
I'm not big on running two gaskets on anything.
With the fenders and the seat overlapping the cover, there's no problems with the cover going anywhere.
Been running it this way for 6 plus years.
