Needing a little information..

I'm doing an overhaul on my recently purchased 1986 R, I was wondering if someone could help me out with a couple sources to find o.e.m or aftermarket for it.. I haven't been able to find much f anything, I'm going to do trail riding with it and some mx after I weld the frame back together and brace it some..

Started with this, one thing I really want is pro-peg nerfs where the hell do you get these!? I havent seen them on any sites yet

still missing some parts, all the intake/air boots are nasty so I'm concerned about buying "used" ones, does service honda still sell parts? I cant use their site on this computer:ermm:

It could use paint and new plastics but eh, that all just gets scratched and such anyways.. :blah:

There are some AC Blackline Pro pegs for '86-'87 on eBay right now. BTW, seeing those Ohtsu H track tires brought me back to the days I was racing 3 wheelers . Good Times. :)

Are fairly rare and i would imagine could bring some decent $$$.
I had a set on my 86 ATC and they worked great, very stiff but the straight line hook up was incredible.
Ive always liked the way they look as well.

what do you all need?

intake boot (carb to box)

clutch basket

rear brake pedal/all the random bolts/washers..

if anyone has a good rad as well that'd be awesome, mines seen better days!

lock nut

twist throttle/thumb throttle with cable

tierod ends

thats about all I can think off of the top of my head, I'll be tearing it down this weekend so I will deff make a more through list, in the time being if any one has those items I'd deff like to get them, It'll be the end of the week so no hurry!

i have a twist throttle with cable, intake boot, couple lock nuts, and a set of tie rods with ends, might also have a spare brake pedal, if your interested I can pm ya a price or post you a pic tommorrow

i got a black 250r raidator... its in normal shape... i think the one spicky was sopse to be at an angle but i think its straight now... pm me a reasonable offer or i'll post you a pic...

Pics would be great! If you guys could come up with some prices on the stuff that'd be cool, I'm never one to throw a price on stuff.. it can be in a PM thats not a problem! I deff need to get the parts though, I have the non ridin blues! :p

hey if anyone has a full wiring harness for an 86 I could use it too!!

The more and more I keep digging on this thing I almost regret getting the damn thing now, I rode it for a good 3 months then it just randomly shut off and has yet to start since then.. :grr:

This weekend I'm going to try to atleast get it running some how again, the guy I had bought it from gave me a box of parts and said here ya go! so I'm really not too happy about the electronics.. I have a feeling the stator took a dump on me, great more money..

I just dont want to get in over my head on this thing, always wanted a 250r but I can't see throwing almost 2 grand in all the parts im going to need new into it..
