I SAY AN AIRBOX THAT HAD AN OUTER WEAR COVER ON A 400 EX -BUT IT ALSO HAD THE TOP OF THE STOCK LID CUT OUT AND A METAL PLATE BOLTED ON TO HOLD THE OUTER WEAR ON INSTEAD OFF THE VELCROW THAT COMES WITH IT - ANYBODY KNOW WEAR I CAN GET ONE .

I'd just make one, doesn't sound like it would be too difficult.

Most people are just getting the metal plate or a piece of metal screen from the hardware store. I have that on my lid it works well when I am running in wet conditions.

You're thinking of the one made by EHS Racing products.

Someone posted a pic about a week ago. Do a search, and you'll find it.

My cut out stock lid holds the outerwear cover on tight. Lid fits down tight with a slight amount of velcrow on right side. Pull tight once the lid is on and velcrow down.
Pull that snorkle off and install a cap in the opening

I know exactly what your talkin about "nutz"
Those lids are for-sale on ebay all the time, but i did a search and couldnt find them. keep looking on there every few days
