well i made this jump out of scrap wood this summere when i was bored. it is wide enough to fit a 300ex and a trx 300 4x4 as you can tell buy the pics. the lip is 18 inches off the ground. i got a bout 4 feet of air on it with my 4x4 5th gear pined starting 100feet after that red house. i landed 20 feet away. the guy jumping the 4x4 in the pics were my brother but he cut me off in the pic. with the 300ex i was jumping 25 feet 3rd bliping it to pined on take off and got 5 feet of air. here is the frame

thats a cool jump, I dont think you should build jumps bigger than that if using the same design, when you build a bigger jump you'll need to have a smoother transition onto the jump with a small lip

i wish i had thought of making wooden jumps when i first started out

and just a word of caution, dont hit that going to fast or you'll get bucked off your quad

yeha i did not even want to make it 18 inches high i just wanted it a foot but i made it 18. i have hit it to fast once. tried it in 4th low throttle and i nearly got bucked off but i held on. in that last pic when my bro landed that he racked him self on the metal gas tank of the quad. ouch

Heres a pic of my wood ramp,i woulda built it outa steel but i just had this laying around so i slapped it togather in about hours. its 6 and a half feet tall, the angle at top is 42 degrees. I havnt hit it yet, still gotta build a landing and get my R back togather.

 WOW! that looks interesting! Would be fun to hit it. My friends hit a bike ramp and cleared it, my one friend hit it with his Z and the gas cap flew off and got gas in his eye.. damn zuki

we have a dirt jump about the size of that smaller ramp that we made on top of a hill in the field infront of my house. you just push it full throttle and hit it and fly down the hill. especially fun on the banshee in 6th

Some times you guys really scare me... I have jumped my 300 4x4 but I stopped that when I got to confident on it... I really don't need to brake it.. Nice ramps guys.:)

cool, i rember back in august i built a jump like that ....well actually......it was a piece of wood on a cinder block and when i hit it a few times the wood split in half....not much fun tho its too small for xr 50..that would be like a braking bump for my 400

Thats looks like my lake jumping for BMX. I don't think I would either jump on a quad. Those rames scare the crap out of me.

same here, I wouldnt trust the last one especially, the first one doesnt seem to bad other than it'll kick you off if you go fast enough

heres a ramp:

haha brad that ain't a ramp thats a speed bump!

dave that jump looks mega scary, if it doesn't tip over when you hit it then its gonna throw you way up into the air and no distance. thats kind of the problem i have with my kicker only its not so bad. yeah yeah i know you have all seen it already but guess what here it is again

yeah i know, but we only have so much dirt for a landing..so we really couldnt do much else, its pretty sweet for where we have it

Holy ****ing batman, that 2nd ramp is not going to work. It is way too undersupported for a wooden ramp, especially for a quad. Thats about the support you need on a metal ramp. 2nd, that angle is steeper than most FMX superkickers. Going for the backflip?

I don't think you would go that high on the second
ramp. I think you run right through the ramp. Shady. I'm surprized he didn't use pallets to make the ramp.:devil
