rear end oh no!!!!

my rear bearings went out for the second time i need to buy a new axle i plan on running harescrambles and some xc how would a durablue 2+2 be for that? and i probably need a new carrier. i have heard about the burgard carriers but i couldnt find them online anyone have a website for them? and any suggestions or tips on replacing bearings and putting a new axle in?? any help will be appriciated thanks

Durablue isn't very popular on this site. I went with Lonstar Axcalibar.

get an RPM axle. not to many people like durablue.

Lonestar makes some good axle's with a great warranty..

I also have a burgard carrier and ya can't beat the price or quality,,it comes with a greaze zerk so them bearings will last a little longer than a stock carrier..

Best tip I can give you on replacing an axle: Get a Lonestar, or an RPM. Before you do that, buy a Honda manual. I've taken out my axle four times, and I still find myself refering to the manual each time, and I don't even drink.

You don't have to, but why not throw a twin row carrier in there while you have it apart. They're supposedly four times stronger, plus, most have a grease zerk on them.

I just replaced my carrier. Jeff@quadshop carries the burgard carriers. you might also check with our site sponsor.

Or see if they have tapered bearing carriers. Those things never wear out. I have tapered bearings everywhere I can put them on my quad.

i would go with most everyone else on this one and suggest rpm or lonestar. i wish i had done that when my bearings destroyed my rear end, but my stupid fater decided to replace with stock :mad:
