buying used what to look 4

ok well im looking to buy a used 2004 trx450r it looks really clean but what should i look for before i know i should buy it. like does it have any problems that the 2004 has.

Just check the frame really well and ride it in all 5 gears, have someone pick up the rear end and shake the wheels to check for loose hubs, Axle locknut, swingarm

Ask if it has ever had anything done with the crank.

check the wear and tear parts. bearings bushings and whatnot. see if the suspension has been lubed and taken care of. Its the details like this that will tell you if it has been taken care of or not.

its also not a bad idea to look in the intake tract/filter for dirt..

Just luck. Maybe the guy will be honest, tell you if it has or hasn't
had any crank work. When you buy used, and don't know the
history, you're rolling the dice. Good luck. :)

well i picked t up today only rode for about 10min but so far so good it very clean so i hope they kept the motor well.
