So I have been thinking about doing this swap for a while. I have already done the 450r rear caliper swap and i had the entire set-up already on the shelf. My 250r MC was complety worn out. It still worked great, but the actual MC metal was wearing down from 20 years of use without a guard.

Mr Honda is a pretty smart guy because the only difference between the 250r and 450 MC is the pushrod length. All i had to do was dis-assemble the two MC's and put the 250r pushrod (longer) into the 450r MC. sorry NO pic :(
I used the 250r rear resivor and brake hose as they fit right into the 450r MC. My Steel braided brake line was a direct fit also.
Like i said, i didnt do this for any real performance gain. It was more of keeping the old R running with some new easy to find parts. Hopefully you found this information useful !
